Job Descripion:
1. Designing applications according to end user needs following discussions with Seniors, Team Leaders, the Development Manager, the Architect and/or end user representatives
2. Potentially creating completely new applications or building upon the functionality of existing website applications suing APP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SalesLogix, C#, SQL Server, WPF, WCF/Web API, WWF, NHibernate etc
3. Working on Euromonitor products (both Web and Desktop)
4. Working on fixing bugs and product enhancements
5. Debugging and maintaining existing code
6. Applying and acquiring business and product knowledge in the performance of assigned projects
7. Participating in the user documentation process
8. Being responsible for completing other work requirements or tasks that are requested by management and are necessary
to meet the goals and objectives of the department and company
9. Actively learning and regularly upgrading self-knowledge on Euromonitor products and technical subjects
10. Performing coding and testing of software projects after acquiring an understanding of the business requirements of said projects.

1. Good oral and written communication skills
2. Positive attitude and aptitude for self-learning and exploring technologies
3. Excellent understanding and skill at utilizing logic and algorithms
4. Excellent OOPs programming knowledge
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

7. Self-motivation and the desire to accept personal responsibility for work
8. Attention to detail
Required Experience:
1. Any experience of different Microsoft technologies (eg C#, ASP.NET, WPF, WWF, WCF/WEB API) as well as HTML5 or Javascript advantageous
2. Knowledge of Entity Framework, CSS, ASP.NET-AJAX controls, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, XAML, XML, XSLT, AngularJS/KnockoutJS advantageous
3. Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies (SCRUM) advantageous
4. Knowledge of T-SQL statements, stored procedures and functions in SQL Server 2008 or above helpful
5. Knowledge of relational database design helpful
6. Knowledge of e-commerce web application with shopping cart process advantageous
