Job Description:-
R&D Systems Engineer for Network Management of Optics Division products including 
Photonic/WDM, Optical Transport, SDH/SONET, MPLS-TP, Ethernet networking.
The Systems Engineer for Optics Network Management will be part of System Engineering 
team and will provide contribution in the development and maintenance of applications with the target to support new functionalities, and better performance in order to increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements and 
translating them into product requirements. He/she shall be capable ofdoing a high level analysis of the impact on the product for supporting a new requirement.The Systems Engineer may interact with users, product management, Network Element teams and customers to define system requirements.Reports to the Systems and Architecture Team Manager.
Candidate Profile:
1. The ideal candidate is a graduate in Computer Science or similar applicable curriculum with great passion and motivation
for high Quality SW in complex and geographically distributed SW environments.
2. Domain experience in Optical Networks and Network Management is a must. Experience with different management
protocols like SNMP, TL1, etc is also required.
3. Experience with telecom operators in Optical Networks and Network Management areas will be an added advantage.
4.Experience in writing functional specifications for Network Management products is plus.
5. Knowledge of Linux, Oracle, MySQL, Hibernate, J2EE, Spring, Apache, LDAP, Radius, scripting languages (Perl,
AWK), continuous integration and agile practices is desirable.
6. Previous job experiences in leading edge technological research & development context will be evaluated for increasing
responsibilities within the development lab.

1. Degree in Computer Science
2. Very good at English spoken/written
