India Post Office invites online application from eligible and desirous candidates for filling up total 8243 posts of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant on permanent basis in all 28 states of India under Govt of India.

Desirous candidates may apply online by Mar 27, 2014. Fill the details against various items in the prescribe online application form. After Online application, take print out of dully filled Online application form and Keep the same for future use.

Application Procedure

• Fees-> Application Fees is Rs. 100 /- for SC/ST candidates and Rs. 500/- For General /OBC candidates. (Rs. 100 for registration fees & Rs. 400/- for Examination fees)
  • The requisite application fees can be paid in the form of system generated Bank Challan at any Indian Post Office.
• How to Apply :
  • Before Online application, Candidates must have scaaned copy of Photograph and Signature in prescribe digital format.
  • Fill all mandatory fields carefully and UPLOAD PHOTO & SIGNATURE.
  • Pay the requisite fees , after payment login and check payment status.
  • After Online Application, Take print out of REGISTRATION SLIP and Keep it for future use.
• There is no need to send REGISTRATION SLIP or any other documents.
